Peyton is a proud double graduate of Marshall University having first received his B.Sc. in Health Sciences and then his M.Sc. in Human Resources Management.

He began his career in Human Resources and earned his professional certification in 2020.

Peyton was recruited by the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) in early 2020 to help launch an angel capital network, Country Roads Angel Network.

Over the course of the next three years, Peyton served as the Director of Entrepreneurship Initiatives & Managing Director of Country Roads Angel Network.

After building a coalition of investor members, managing investments in portfolio companies of nearly $1 million, and assisting in the leveraging of $10+ million of capital for portfolio companies, Peyton felt it was time for a change.

In January 2023, Peyton formally launched Ballard Consulting Group to embrace his vision of pushing forward businesses and organizations through management consulting.

He utilizes his experience in start-up business advising and consulting, private equity, non-profit management, and fundraising to cultivate growth for clients.
